Switch a folder to list or grid view

  • 1 minute read

By default, Proloquo2Go folders display in grid view. You can set individual Proloquo2Go folders to display in list view. This can be helpful for folders containing items in a schedule or steps in a sequence.

To change a folder from grid to list view or vice versa:

  1. Go inside the folder you want to edit.
  2. Tap the Edit Edit icon button in the bottom toolbar to open Edit Mode.
  3. In the left Edit Mode side panel, tap the Folder tab.
  4. In the list of folder properties, scroll down to Appearance. Tap Display Style.
  5. Select List or Grid View, depending on which you want to use.

Rearrange buttons in list view

You can swap and alphabetize buttons using the Edit Mode tools in list view just like in grid view. However, you cannot drag and drop buttons in the same way. To drag a button when a folder is in list view, put your finger on the three horizontal bars on its right side. Now, slide your finger up or down the screen. When the button is where you want it, lift your finger off the screen.

Templates in list view

When a folder is in list view, all template buttons in the folder will appear at the top of the list. You cannot edit or delete these buttons in the regular Edit Mode. You may want to remove the template from folders you display in list view. For instructions, see Make a folder use a different or no template.
