Change a folder’s grid size

Sometimes, you may want to change the grid size just for one folder. For example, you might have a folder of photos where you want the images to be bigger.

In Edit Mode, you can change a specific folder’s grid size:

  1. Go inside the folder you want to change to a different grid size.
  2. Tap Edit Edit icon in the bottom toolbar to open Edit Mode.
  3. Select the Folder Screenshot Of Buttonfolder Section With Folder Highlighted In Blue tab to open Folder Properties to apply your changes.
  4. Under Appearance, tap Grid Size.
  5. Choose one of the listed grid sizes. Or, scroll to the bottom of the list and select Other Grid Size.
  6. If you chose Other Grid Size, choose your Number of Rows. Then, tap < Back and choose your Number of Columns. Finally, select Done in the top right corner of the main Edit Mode panel (not the top of the screen) to apply your changes.

  1. Select Done in the top right corner of the screen to exit Edit Mode.

Return a folder to the default grid size

Sometimes, when you try to change the user’s grid size in Options, one or more folders don’t change. This is almost always because they have been manually set to use a specific grid size. You can reset a folder to the default grid size in Edit Mode.

  1. Go inside the folder you want to reset to default.
  2. Tap Edit Edit icon in the bottom toolbar to open Edit Mode.

  4. Under Appearance, tap Grid Size.
  5. Tap Default at the top of the list of grid sizes.

  1. Tap Done in the top right corner of the screen to exit Edit Mode.
