Beyond Boundaries: The 2026 National Conference in Darwin
This conference, organized by the Australian Association of Special Education (AASE), brings together the practical expertise and innovative thinking needed to support students with additional learning needs across regional, rural, remote, and metropolitan contexts. 

The 2026 program addresses the challenges and opportunities in Australian education today. Join us as we explore strategies for supporting students with disabilities in a range of school environments, hear how educators are reimagining pedagogical practice to meet diverse student needs, and discover approaches to build resilience and engagement in challenging contexts.
Keynote speakers will address the conference theme of Beyond Boundaries, while sessions across four key streams—Innovation in Education, Reimagining Pedagogical Practice, Resilience and Engagement, and Diverse Perspectives—will offer evidence-informed, practical strategies you can adapt to your own setting.

The Communication Matters International AAC Conference is the UK’s leading annual AAC event. Over two days, participants will enjoy a diverse program of keynotes, plenaries, presentations, posters, and talks from AAC supplier companies. The theme of this year is "Communication Without Limits".
