Change the appearance of the Text Pad and Quick Blocks

You can control the appearance of the Text Pad and Quick Blocks. This can allow for better control over visibility and contrast of text versus background, depending on a user’s visual needs and personal preferences.

Change the Text Pad

  1. Go to Options Proloquo4Text 32Px Icon Options in the toolbar.
  2. Go to Appearance.

There are a large number of appearance options you can change in the Text Pad.

Change text size, color, and font

Tap Font. Here you can control the text size, color, and font of the messages in the Text Pad.

You can also change the size of text in Full Screen mode, and change the background color of the Text Pad.

Change the Speech Indicator

You can control how and when the Speech Indicator will appear, what color it will be, and which portions of the text it will highlight.

Location of Play/Pause and Clear Text Pad buttons

Tap Controls to change the position of the Play/Pause Proloquo4Text Icon 32X32Px Play and Clear Text Pad buttons Proloquo4Text 32Px Icon Clear Large.

Change the Quick Blocks

  1. Go to Options Proloquo4Text 32Px Icon Options in the toolbar.
  2. Go to Appearance.

Tap Font. Here you can control the text size, color, and font of the messages in the Quick Blocks.

You can also change the default background color of the Quick Blocks. This will not affect items and categories whose colors have already been changed.
