How do you change the pronunciation of a word?

“You like to-mah-to and I like to-may-to”. Well, now we can both have the pronunciation we want!

Here are the steps to adjust how any word is pronounced in Proloquo:

  1. Tap the More menu   in the lower right corner

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Tap Speech
  4. Tap Pronunciations
  5. Tap the plus button button
  6. Enter the Original Text
  7. Enter the Pronunciation

Note that each voice has its own unique properties. If you change the voice you’re using, the change in pronunciation might need to be redone.
