Wrise offers several key features such as Text to Speech, word and sentence highlighting, zoom and EasyReading mode, through which texts become more comprehensible and eyestrain is reduced. Additional functionality such as Speak as you Type, word prediction and speech tags, can reduce writing efforts a great deal.

Wrise 1.1 makes reading significantly easier. By adding global shorcuts for playback control, users can control Wrise from any application by using system-wide shortcuts. In addition, with an action extension text can be selected and read in any application that support extensions on Mac OS 10.10 and up.
 
Powerful speech tags are available to define reading speed, voice, language and volume and users can even create so-called custom tags to their own needs. Complemented by automatic language detection, tags enable users to effortlessly read multilingual texts. Wrise 1.1 adds a new, poweful "Do Not Read" tag that enables the user to definte text that should not be read.
 
Wrise 1.1 also adds full localization in French, making it easier to use for our French customers. Even though the interface is only translated into French and English, Wrise can be used in many languages.
