Hi, will "Hold duration" act like a dwell selection? That is, will the button be selected if the user stays on it for a designated amount of time? I am looking for something that will work with a student who can slide his finger across, but may not be able to lift it (so he may not be able to use the "select on release" option). Also, will it work in portrait mode? And is there a video of the keyboard in action? Thanks, Alison

Hi Alison,

Hi Alison,

We do not currently have a video showing the keyboard in action. It works only on iPad but does support portrait and landscape orientation.

Hold duration defines the minimum time a key must be pressed before it will be considered as an intended key press. It does not work like a dwell selection in that the key will not type until you release it. However, we can look into a dwell selection type feature in the future. Could you send an email to support@assistiveware.com with full details on the needs of this student. For example, what kind of dwell timing would be ideal?

Thanks,

david.

I have a color coded sytem

I have a color coded sytem for teaching ketboaring. I would love to be able to customize your keyboard to match mine. Is therr a way to relly fine tune the colors of each key by finger? If not, is this something that can be added? I would purchase this! Your is one of the few keyboards that works in all apps!
