Focus mode makes it easier to teach specific words while still allowing users access to the full vocabulary.
Many students need a lot of time to learn to scan and tap buttons on their devices. Parents and therapists may worry that the student feels overwhelmed and is struggling because there are too many options. Our first reaction is often to try and simplify the grid by deleting or hiding buttons.
Focus mode is a better solution. Focus Mode uses light and motion to draw a student’s attention to your target words.
Focus mode allows you to select buttons with a single tap.
To enable Focus mode:
Focus mode stays on even if the student leaves the tab with the target words. The path back to that tab will use light and motion to invite the child to return to it.
When you are ready to end your Focus mode session, tap Cancel in the bottom right corner.
Please note that your Focus mode settings will not be saved after ending your session.
