Marden is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 14 years experience as an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialist, with an additional 14 years experience as a software developer. Marden will provide clinical direction to AssistiveWare’s communication and educational products, and share direction of day-to-day development activities with other members of the AssistiveWare management team.

Marden has worked with AssistiveWare since 2010 as an AAC consultant for vocabulary design and a software developer for iOS applications. From 2006 - 2012, Marden also provided AAC services in schools in the Boston, Massachusetts’s area, through her private practice. Prior to opening the practice, Marden was a member of the speech language pathologist (SLP) team at Children’s Hospital Boston’s Augmentative Communication Program. She has also provided AAC and computer access services in schools and adult day programs in the Chicago area through United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicago / Infinitec, and general speech and language services through the Technology and Language Center in Wilmette, Illinois. Marden began her SLP career at Achieve Kids in San Jose, California, providing AAC and SLP services to students with severe behavioral issues. Prior to becoming an SLP, Marden was a software development engineer for Hewlett-Packard. During her 14 years with Hewlett-Packard, Marden worked primarily in the HP-UX operating system R&D group. Marden holds a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences, an M.S. in Operations Research, and an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology.

Kingeter has more than 20 years of senior management and marketing experience in the global software industry, with particular expertise in the development and commercialization of new products. She will direct AssistiveWare’s day-to-day marketing activities and customer support operations.

Prior to joining AssistiveWare, Kingeter was director of sales and marketing at Origin Instruments Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of assistive technology products for computer access used primarily by people with motor disabilities. Origin Instruments and AssistiveWare have enjoyed a long-standing business partner relationship for many years. Kingeter was responsible for international sales and marketing and has worked with users around the world in the areas of computer and device access. Before joining Origin Instruments, Kingeter served as vice president of marketing at Metallect Corporation, a software solutions provider for automated impact analysis and software dependency mapping and was president of Transfinity Corporation, a content acceleration solution provider. She also served as vice president of marketing and e-business integration solutions at Sterling Commerce (acquired by IBM in 2010), a leading e-commerce company providing software and services to more than 55,000 customers worldwide. She holds a B.B.A. in computer science and business administration and a M.B.A.
