Important Snow Leopard note

Infovox iVox 2.0 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard". The old version, Infovox iVox 1.3, is not compatible with Snow Leopard. Infovox iVox 2.0 is offered as a free update in order to facilitate the migration to Snow Leopard for those people who rely on these natural sounding voices to use their computer.

Do not mix Infovox iVox 1.3 and 2.0 voices.

Requirements for Infovox iVox:
Infovox iVox 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later (including Mac OS X 10.6).
Infovox iVox 1.3 works on Mac OS X 10.3.9 to Mac OS X 10.5.

Important note: Please note that because of the high quality voices Infovox iVox is a very large download. Also note that all languages contain the US English Heather bonus voice.

Updating from iVox 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3: Because there were major changes to the voice files, it was not possible to create a small updater application. After downloading, run the installer to update Infovox iVox. If you use multiple languages you need to follow this procedure for each language.
