There's an app for that: how assistive tech changes lives of people with autism

The Guardian reports on Autech 2015, a conference that was held earlier this month. Conference goers learned about innovative technologies available to support people with autism.
Organized by Wirral Autistic Society and held in Manchester, the conference showcased assistive technology devices such as new biometric wristbands developed to predict changes in behavior, robots to improve social skills and our AAC app, Proloquo2Go. It is aimed at professionals and carers, and highlights the opportunities for improved practice through the use of these assistive technologies (AT).
