How can I copy buttons and folders between devices?

The ability to share individual folder/s was a frequently-requested feature, which we added in Proloquo2Go 4.0. Note that because of this feature, every folder needs to have an unique name. If a folder with the same name already exist in the vocabulary you are copying it into, please only copy and paste the missing buttons. If you copy the entire folder and paste it in a vocabulary where a folder with the same name already exists, Proloquo2Go will only create a new button that links to the existing folder.

To copy and paste buttons and folders between devices, do the following:

  1. Tap the Edit button (the pencil).
  2. Navigate to the location of the button(s) you want to copy. Note that you can open folders in Edit Mode by double tapping on them.
  3. Tap the button(s) you want to copy. A checkmark will appear on each button indicating that each is selected.
  4. Tap the Import/Export button (all the way on the right of the editing toolbar).
  5. Select Export to iTunes File Sharing or Export to Dropbox, and follow the on-screen prompts.

Now connect the other device to your computer or log into your Dropbox and use the Import from iTunes File Sharing or Import from Dropbox to transfer it to the second device.

Note that you can only copy and paste folders one level deep.
