How can I copy buttons and folders between users?

The ability to share individual folder/s was a frequently-requested feature, which we added in Proloquo2Go 4.0. Note that because of this feature, every folder needs to have an unique name. If a folder with the same name already exist in the vocabulary you are copying it into, please only copy and paste the missing buttons. If you copy the entire folder and paste it in a vocabulary where a folder with the same name already exists, Proloquo2Go will only create a new button that links to the existing folder.

To copy and paste buttons and folders between users, do the following:

  1. Go into Edit Mode and tap the folder or button you want to copy.
  2. Tap the Copy button (empty clipboard with arrow pointing right).
  3. Tap the Done button to exit Edit Mode.
  4. Switch to the other user in the Options:
    * To open Options on an iPad, tap the Options button (the gears) on the bottom toolbar.
    * To open Options on an iPhone or iPod touch, tap the Views button (double overlapping squares) and then tap Options.
  5. Tap User.
  6. Tap the user you want to paste the button(s) in to switch to it.
  7. Navigate to the location where you want to paste the button(s).
  8. Tap the Edit button (the pencil).
  9. Tap the Paste button (full clipboard with arrow pointing right).
  10. Tap the Done button to exit Edit Mode.

Note that you can only copy and paste folders one level deep.
