How can I scroll a page without swiping?

Proloquo2Go includes a feature called Show Paging Button. When it is turned ON, Proloquo2Go will place Page Up and Page Down buttons in the lower right corner of grid screens as needed. These buttons are automatically generated, so you do not have to edit your pages to add them. To remove them, simply turn the feature off. Show Paging Buttons can be a good solution for individuals with fine motor issues or those who have difficulty mastering the swipe gesture.

To turn on Paging, follow these steps:

  1. In Proloquo2Go open Options View
*To open Options View on an iPad, tap the Options button (the gears) on the bottom toolbar.
*To open Options View on an iPhone or iPod touch, tap the Tools popup (grid of squares) or Views button (double overlapping squares) and then tap Options.
  2. Tap Interaction to open the Interaction settings where you can adjust how Proloquo2Go responds to user input.
  3. Under the View section, toggle Show Paging Buttons to ON. Now Page Up and Page Down buttons will appear whenever there are more buttons than can currently fit on the screen.
  4. (Optional) Tap Paging Buttons Position and select a location for the paging buttons. After selecting a location, tap the Interaction button to go back.
  5. To exit Options View, tap the Options button in the top left corner of the options screen, and then tap the Done button. On iPad you can also exit Options View by tapping anywhere outside the options window.
