How technology is helping people with speech impairments talk

The Guarding reports on new technologies that are allowing people such as Alan Martin, who has cerebral palsy, the chance to communicate properly for the first time. These AAC technologies can be life-changing, as not being able to communicate is very frustrating. However, getting funding is very difficult as it falls between education and health, and most local authorities don't have specific budgets for it.
