Google Drive

Hi there,

I have three Proloquo2Go iPads, but only one of them displays the toggle to switch Google Drive on or off. What am I missing? How can I get them to show Google Drive as a backup option?

Thank you,
Darrell

Hi Darrell,

Hi Darrell,

Are the other iPads also running Proloquo2Go 5? Backing us with Google Drive was added to Proloquo2Go 5.0. For information on how to update your Proloquo2Go, please see: http://www.assistiveware.com/support/faq/page/33

Hope this helps! If that's not the issue, please contact us at support@assistiveware.com so we can figure it out!

Best wishes,

Anne

Hi Anne,

Hi Anne,

I think I got it. In the App Store, Proloquo2Go is 5.0.1 but in the About area of the app itself it lists the version as 4.4.1 (861). Proloquo2Go is up to date, but the iOS on two of the iPads are on 9.3.5.

I now see that Proloquo2Go 5 requires 10.2...even though I have the latest version of the app, it seems that some aspects of Proloquo2Go are not available on the older iOS version.

If you know that Proloquo2Go isn't fully updated, but you don't see any updates in the App Store, you may need to update your iOS. Proloquo2Go 5 requires iOS 10.2. Proloquo2Go 4.4 requires iOS 9.3. For instructions on updating your iOS, see the following support document from Apple: Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you have an older device that cannot update to iOS 10, that is fine. You can continue running Proloquo2Go 4.4.1 with no problems.

Thanks, Anne. I'll try to track down some newer iPads.
