Access to photos saved on iPad directly and Desktop Version

Hi :)

Just getting back into setting up a new system for my son.

New IPad fresh start, it's been awhile.

Question One :

When setting up a new button and wanting to add a photograph directly from his iPad photos I am not given the option. Instead I'm getting the singular option to select from Dropbox. That's fine in the longer term but we'd really like to keep it simple at this point.

Is there are setting or something in Options I need to change ?

Question Two :

Is there a download that lets me construct - improve his system on my desktop directly that can be later updated onto the iPad. Can't help but think this would be quicker. Also doesn't require I find time to do the edits when he doesn't require direct access to his iPad.

Thanks in Advance.

Liza

Hello Liza,

Hello Liza,

First, the photos: If you receive the message, "This app does not have access to your photos or videos", please make sure that access to photos is enabled. To check this, please do the following:

Open the iOS Settings app on your device.
Tap Privacy.
Tap Photos.
Scroll to Proloquo2Go and make sure it is toggled to ON/green.
If Proloquo2Go doesn't appear, go back to the Settings and then follow these instructions:

Tap General.
Tap Restrictions (you may have to enter a passcode).
Under Privacy, tap Photos.
Tap Allow Changes (a check mark will appear)
Make sure that Proloquo2Go is toggled to ON.

Next, at this time customization and programming of Proloquo2Go is completed on the device. We currently do not have a computer-based interface. While we are considering this for a future version, we do not yet have a timeline for when it might be added.

However, for personal use you can install Proloquo2Go onto all the devices you own. So if you have another device, you can install Proloquo2Go for free, edit the app and then transfer it to your son's device quite quickly.

You can email our support team at support@assistiveware.com for step by step instructions. The support team is available 24/7 and always happy to help.
