Scanning with Proloquo

I have a new student that has started using switch scanning with Proloquo2Go on the iPad. My student tends to rest their head on their "move it" switch and it scrolls through button TOO FAST! Is there any way besides adjusting the Debounce setting that would help this? On Debounce it still continues to scroll through but at a slower rate. I want something similar to Filter Keys on the PC. Also-is there a way to have it not scan all the buttons on the page like the menu on the bottom?

Hi Wendy,

Hi Wendy,

Perhaps you can increase the debounce time? At this time, there is no scan pattern that doesn't include the bottom tool bar. You can however, limit the number of items that appear in the bottom tool bar. To do this open the Options menu and tap Restrictions. You can Restrict the Recents and Typing View which removes the Views button. You can Restrict the Edit feature which removes the Edit button. Finally, you can restrict access to the Options button in the Settings app of the device by tapping on Proloquo2Go.
