Proloquo4Text or Proloquo2Go?

I have a student who we are anxiously awaiting the update to Proloquo that will enable auditory prompts for scanning. He is currently using another app that does offer these supports He does not use the symbols/pics at all for communication as he relies on the auditory prompts when scanning. I have looked at some information about Proloquo4text but it doesn't really give me an idea if it offers auditory prompts in scanning and what the scanning capabilities are. This student could possibly scan through a keyboard to start typing his response and then scan over to word prediction to select his choice but he definitely needs the auditory prompts in scanning. The goal is that he could possibly use this for social media. Are there any ideas of how a student could export the text from Proloquo2go into social media site like Facebook or Twitter?

Wendy,

Wendy,

Currently Proloquo4Text does not include built-in scanning features. However, Proloquo4Text is compatible with and optimized for iOS 7 Switch Control so users in need of scanning can access the app efficiently this way.

Note that it is recommended that users not enable Speech for Switch Control, otherwise speech output from apps will get cut off by the auditory scanning of Switch Control.
